Since its introduction in 2019, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been a lifeline for Indian farmers. The scheme aims to improve the standard of living for farmers by depositing a set sum into their bank accounts. The 14th instalment of the plan is scheduled to be deposited soon into the accounts of eligible farmers who have completed their KYC verification.
The Details of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Under the scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs. 6,000 per year, deposited in three monthly instalments of Rs. 2,000 each. Farmers who have completed their KYC verification will receive the 14th instalment, worth Rs. 4,000, in addition to the previous instalment that they may have missed. After four months, another instalment of Rs. 2,000 will be deposited into the farmers’ bank accounts.
The Importance of KYC Verification
Farmers who have not completed their KYC verification are advised to do so immediately, as they will not receive the 14th instalment if they do not fulfil this criterion. Lack of KYC verification caused some farmers to miss the previous instalment. Farmers who are unsure if they have completed their KYC verification or not can visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana website to check.

The condition of farmers in the country is not very good, and they often face disturbances due to rain and hailstorms. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana provides a much-needed relief to these farmers, and the scheme’s benefits have been felt by many since its inception.
