ЁЯЪЬ Maharashtra Govt Disburses тВ╣1,892 Crore to Farmers Under Namo Shetkari Yojana
Mumbai тАУ The Maharashtra government on Tuesday released the seventh instalment of the Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana, disbursing тВ╣1,892.61 crore to 91.65 lakh farmers across the state.
The announcement was made at a special programme held at the Cabinet Hall in Mantralaya, where Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis formally initiated the disbursement.
ЁЯСитАНЁЯМ╛ Scheme Benefits
Modelled on the CentreтАЩs Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana, the state scheme aims to provide direct financial assistance to farmers.
Eligible farmers receive an additional тВ╣6,000 per year from the Maharashtra government.
Combined with the CentreтАЩs тВ╣6,000 annual support, beneficiaries receive a total of тВ╣12,000 annually to strengthen their agricultural livelihoods.
